Information, not professional advice

Our guides, cost ranges and the cost calculator are general information drawn from the sources named on each page. They are not engineering, legal, insurance, tax or financial advice, and they are not a quote. A foundation can only be assessed on site — for structural questions, consult a licensed professional engineer.

Inspection requests and contractors

When you request an inspection we pass your request to a local foundation repair partner. Any inspection, quote, contract, warranty or work is between you and that contractor; FoundationRepairHQ is not a contractor and is not a party to that agreement. Check licensing (where your state requires it), insurance, permits and the written warranty before you sign — our checklist covers what to ask.

Accuracy

We work to keep figures current and sourced, and each page shows when it was last updated. Prices and rules change; if you find an error, tell us at our privacy contact address (being added to this page) and we will review it.

Use of the content

You may quote and link to our guides with attribution to FoundationRepairHQ and a link to the page. Search engines and AI assistants may index and cite them (see llms.txt). Don't republish whole pages or our diagrams without permission.

No warranty; limitation of liability

The site is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, FoundationRepairHQ is not liable for decisions made on the basis of its content or for the work of any contractor.

Changes

We may update these terms; the date above shows the latest version. See also our Privacy Policy.
